League Rules

  1. All games will be 7 innings in length
  2. 5 runs per inning rule in effect, with the last inning being open for all league games. The Championship Final series will have all innings open.
  3. Home team will supply game balls (3 and 2 are new)
  4. The winning team is responsible for phoning results to:
  5. All players must play a minimum of five games, to be eligible for the play-offs
  6. All decisions made by the umpire are final, if you are written up for any incident; it is a minimum one game suspension. You will also have the incident looked at and voted upon by the league executive. The league Executive's decision is final.
  7. All bats must be a drop three or -3.
  8. The team representing the league at provincials will be decided by winning percentage as of June 26th, 2009. All games vs the Midgets will not be included in the calculation. Formula used will be total points gained divided by total points available. The second tiebreaker is the win/loss record between the two teams.
  9. For every game you must have at least eight of your own players, any players picked up for a game must be from the league or insured by Manitoba Baseball Association. Any player picked up for a game can not pitch in that game, this includes playoffs.
  10. No alcohol or drugs will be permitted on the playing field at any time.
  11. Tie in playoffs, the Home Team is the deciding game will be determined by a coin flip. If a second deciding game is necessary the other team will be Home in that game.
