Expos/Cubs draw in regular season finale

The Century 21 Cubs and the Tavern United Expos drew 2-2 in the final regular season game of the MacArthur Truck and Trailer Senior "AA" Baseball League.
On the line was first place in the league and first selection for the upcoming provincial tournament.
With the tie, the Expos claimed first place by one point over the Cubs.
Mark Derlago and T.J. Flett both went the distance for their respective teams each giving up one run before a short rain delay. Following the delay, the Expos took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 6th after but the Cubs battled back to tie it in the top of the seventh.
Both teams will represent the league in the provincial tournament in Brandon on August 8-10, 2008.
